I have recently downloaded Logic Pro X but for some reason cannot get the metronome working, I have tried everything. It appears to be armed, I just can't hear it.

Make a basic project just using a couple of software instrument tracks... using Logics own plugins..

Restart Logic and load it back in to confirm its still having the same issue and if it is...

Zip it up (important)

Post it somewhere like dropbox etc.. and I'll take a look / see

Thats probably the only way I or someone else.. can actually see whats going on and determine what is the real cause...

Just for fun, open a Logic Pro X project, click on Record -> Metronome Settings ansd look at the lower left side of the dialog box. What output is being used?

According to the screenshot on the previous page.. it's the usual 1-2 and the mixer strip shows ST Out which again, is normal.... hence my request.

Dude this was a life saver for me. Can't thank you more man. This thing was bugging me for weeks. It was like a thorn in my foot. Finally out. Appreciate it man.
