My ipod is the old mini and it was my mom's... I have it now and I want to plug it into my macbook pro and then download music to it... I have her registration #.... Also can I plug my iphone into my macbook pro (it's new)... and will the music on the iphone go onto my computer in itunes?? it's not working.. the original music is in the itunes on my old del computer

If I'm understanding the information you presented, it sounds like you have a new Macbook Pro and you will want to copy the iTunes library that is currently on your PC to your Macbook. Then you can sync your iPhone and your Mom's iPod to it. Syncing only goes one direction -- from the computer to the device. Here are some articles that will explain the steps:
