VMWare Fusion Direct X11 problem

I have the late 2013 macbook pro 13" retina display, and I installed Vmware to play games. I'm having problems with direct x11, it is installed but said my graphics card doesn't support it. The people at the mac store assured me I could play my games on Vmware and I'm really frustrated.

Not an expert on wmware if all other virtual machines also the wmware versions ive used dont access the videro card as anything but a generic 2d adaptor which dont so 3d this is why people use bootcamp because its not a virtual machine but dualboot to a native windows install

VMWare does support 3D games. However it only supports DirectX 9.0c and not the newer DirectX. One thing to keep in mind, the 13'' MacBook Pro does not have a discrete graphics chip, but an integrated chip and that just may not have much oomph.
