Push notifications WhatsApp not work.

Just follow this step:

Go to WhatsApp-->Settings --> Notifications --> Reset All Notifications

Alternate way if you don't wanna reset all of your notification settings.

Go to WhatsApp-->Settings --> Notifications --> In-App Notifications --> Turn off Sounds & Vibrate

The 2nd one worked for me.

I am facing the same issue and the solution mentioned by parimal271 is not working 😟 I have iphone 4s with ios8. Please help!

Just restart your device 🙂 ... i am also facing same problem for last 2 days.. i just restart my phone, whatsapp working fine.

After six months, check and recheck all, many restarts, restores, install a reinstall apps... problem not solved.

So after 5 years apple customer's is time to finish.

Same thing here. Hard reset several times, lost several important things in order to NOT load a backup that could bring the issue back to my phone... and so far Apple does NOTHING.

I'll go for an Android... less security but at least things work and the battery exists, lasts. What's worth having security if things doesn't work?

Apple does nothing?! Why should Apple do anything?!!! Apple don't make WhatsApp, why would they debug someone elses application, there's millions of apps in the apps store - want them to fix all of them too?

If WhatsApp isn't working for you then leave WhatsApp and use someone else, there's lots of messenger apps out there - including Apple's built in one.

I had this problem too and it's solved really easy. go to settings in Whatsapp and to notifications. Do NOT put silence on the groups but rather put no sound.

This problem is not just with the whatsapp..i use hike also...and the same thing happens with the hike notifications....so i think the root cause is with the Apple..
