Imovie 10.0.3 - how to see date/time of clip taken?

How does one see the time and date of a clip taken in imoive?

Showing skimmer info just shows something like: MVI_5643.

Thanks.

Select the clip, select "Adjust", select info (i in a white circle) and the name and date appear to the left above the viewer.

I put a video clip into imovie.

When I try an.d put time and date stamp, it puts the time and date that I am working on the project, not the time and date I took the video.

I'm told I can adjust time and date, I understand this, but it's not what I expected.

I want to be able to bring the exact/correct time and date that took video without having to adjust.

My final footage can subpoenaed to court and if I adjust I cannot swear to it being original and evidence goes out the window.

I've even benn on phone to apple support and they tell the inky way is to adjust manually, can't incorporate time and date on video footage.

I see Shakey... so you want the date/time to show on the actual final rendered movie for court footage.

Just out of curiosity.... when you have a clip selected in a project... and you go to look at the info.... (select adjust, click the info button)... is the info time/date right of the footage there?

That is what I am getting at... if that date/time is not accurate... nothing else will be either. So I'm just curious if the raw footage within an event shows the correct info (i.e. again select adjust at the top left, then the white 'I' button).
