Repair ipad hard disk

Hi

I have two device, ipad 1(3G-32GB) and ipad 3 (4G-32GB). but today I realized my hdd ipad 3 damaged and I can't turn it on.

Now my question is, Is it possible to use my ipad-1 hdd for replace ipad-3 storage?

Have you tried to restore it? If so, what happens once the restore completes?


If you're seeing error messages, please post the exact error message you see. Some of them do suggest hardware issues which would mean you need to replace the iPad.


The iPad really isn't user-serviceable - all the internal parts are attached to the motherboard and really can't be replaced by an end user.
