Battery drain issues since IOS 7.1.1 update

I am annoyed to report after today's usage after and a brand new reset using Dirty Vegas's guide my iPhone 5 jumped from 90% to 40% and then switched off. The 7.1.1 update is causing this.

I follwed Dirty Vegas' steps but backing up on iTunes, cleaned up and restored all the data but the drain is still there.

Just just waitng for Apple to solve this issue.

same here, i dont know how Apple are leaving the customers to suffer like this. VERY poor customer service!

Additional to this battery issue, I am also facing frequent Call drops.

Just wondering if it is just with me?

Just to throw my hat in the ring as I'm also suffering terrible jumpy battery life.

I'n not having issues with iTunes Match, never had iTunes Match on.. My phone is not displaying any 'bogus' other data either.

Same problem here. Upgraded from 7.0.6 to 7.1.1 on an iPhone 4S. Big mistake. Battery life was fine, now only a few hours. Fix needed soon.

Calendar and Contacts and Email are not the problem. I have everything switched off from a fresh reset and I still have no battery life.

6 hours is pretty good, I usually see 6-7 hours on my Nexus 4, Galaxy S5 and my 4s. I think your perceptions are off on how long the battery should last.
