The musical keyboard isnt working in logic 10 for me. When i first installed logic 10 it worked fine but it has now stopped working all together. I can open it but when I play any keys or even click on the keys it doesnt play any of the instruments. I can't think of what it can be because it used to work but just stopped for no reason. Anyone have any idea?

LOGIC PRO X > Control Surfaces > Make sure 'Bypass All Control Surfaces' is selected. Try the musical typing. Should work fine.
Try deleting your user prefs: first quit Logic, then, in the Finder, dropdown the Go menu, press the Alt key, and the user Library will show up as a choice. In the user library, go to the Preferences folder and delete the com.apple.logic10.plist and related files.

I have the same problem like Nathanael and the same System (mac Book Pro Retina Core i7, 16 GB Ram).
Unhappily no option works, or precise, I cannot found the com.apple.logic10.plist file in my finder 😮
Maybe someone can help me (us) ...

Yes I do select the track I want it to play but the track just doesnt get the midi from the typing keyboard.
Have just tried this but it hasnt fixed this. Thanks for your help though.
Also, with the piano Roll editor open be sure that the "MIDI IN" button is selected, it will turn red when on.
This should activate step input.
In Logic's audio preferences, do you have the correct input and output set
