Unknowingly I signed up for a free trial of unlocator. Now it is expired and every time I attempt to visit netflix, I get the message "something is wrong with your unlocator setup". How do I get rid of this website? And what DNS server should I be using?

This actually solved the problem on my browser, went to Sys Preferences > Network > advanced > delete all dns numbers existing (cus i changed them) and automatically it writes new deffault ones.

I have done that (thanks anyway). I followed the instructions, yet when I try to visit netflix the page still pops up. Upon a google search, unlocator does not appear to be legit, and another commentor said the site never really was removed. Also, netflix has no idea what unlocator is, or why it pops up for their site.

You can use the 'nuclear' option. Backup all of your data, erase the drive and reinstall the OSX. Then reinstall your data with out Unlocater.

You simply need to change your dns settings back to what they were before. Either use your isp's suggested ones (often they are fastest) or google's or opendns. If the dns was set on your computer, then you can often just remove the numbers there, & it will get suitable dns automatically, from your router.
