I am having the same issue. If my iPhone 5c is locked clock stops running. If I leave it un-locked long enough it picks up network time but as soon as phone locks again same issue. Sometimes it works fine if plugged into power other times it does not.

This is a very serious issue and obviously there are many of us having it. I was really hoping the new 8.3 update would resolve it but no such luck.

PLEASE HELP!!

i've facing this problem since ios 8 update (i am on 8.4), but somehow this past month the clock starting to moving ( i didn't know what caused this ), but maybe it will helps, here's the chronology :

my phone keeps disconnecting from my wifi, and will auto reconnect. the phone wouldn't connect to an android hotspot after disconnecting saying the password is wrong or something (cant remember lol).

the bluetooth is dead?(spinning wheel of death)

the clock stop moving when device is locked for > 2 minute (stopwatch and timer is also stopping when device is locked). this happened when the device is not connected to power source.

i have followed this post http://blog.gingerlime.com/2010/iphone-running-late/ , but i modified the plist file to update every 6 seconds. and it doesn't work as it should, so as a frustation (though i didn't delete the plist). i used activator to run the sh script everytime i wake the phone. after using this method since november 2015, now in the past month the clock started to moving even when the device is locked. but after the phone is dead or restarting the clock changed to maybe random clock and sometimes different day lol. so i didn't know what caused my clock to start moving. as for the wifi or bt i still have the same problem.

Exactly same problem I'm facing since last 6 months. Contact apple support but they told me that its all about hardware problem. I don't understand if this problem about hardware than why its creating problem to all.

Let me know E3brooks and Enslow95 when you are using ios 8 or 7 that time it was also creating problem or not?

I have had this issue as well. It started after updating from 9.3.2 to 9.3.3. I am on the current OS and still have this problem. Contacted Apple support and they were useless. I am currently developing my own phone (because I am sick of these companies making a fortune on us and treating us like garbage) I am building a raspberry Pi hone. I call it the PI phone. Going to create my own app store and call it the Bakery. Cause everyone love PI! then I have an actual Phone that I can also use as a real computer. Apple, Microsoft and Google are all trash and most of these phone manufacturers are garbage as well. Censor this Apple.

I was having this same or similar issue. My iPhone 5c kept jumping back to 5:04pm every 1-10 minutes. I think it might have been when locked, but i'm not sure. (I updated to 10.1.1 about three days ago, and dropped my phone pretty good about 2 hours before problems started) I tried restarting and that didn't help so that's when i found this thread. I was about to give up hope, because the first 20 posts are about people trying 20 things with no luck.

But I had luck! So don't totally give up hope yet.

I only had the problem for 3 or 4 hours, but noticed that Bluetooth wouldn't work at all, but texts and internet was working just fine.

I reset the iPhone to a back-up from 1:30 this morning. It came back on and works just fine.

It sounds like I'm one of the lucky ones, but I just wanted to give encouragement to anyone else finding this thread.

Dear Allen,

Thanks for your advice.

I also have same problem with my iPod touch 5th gen.

I tried reset network but it still has problem, next I tried to reset all settings, problem still threre and next erase all content and setting but cannot fix the issue. Last resolution was restore and update which I have tried last night, but it doesn't fix.

I guess it is a hardware issue.
