so here's the thing because i've never found the solution anywhere.

I just left the Apple Store in Sao Paulo, where they told me this is a problem with the battery in the logic board. The only solution would be the replacement of the phone and for that I would have to pay R$ 1100 (around $393). That's basically buying another phone because Apple does not recognize this as a problem that should be recalled. I'm extremely disgusted with Apple right now. Before buying another phone (Not Apple, that's for sure), I'll have a friend open it for me and see what we can do about this crap.

I have a Iphone 5C with bluetooth problem, is actually stuck in a spinning pineweel, but in the menu it looks like is off. Wifi is working but now and then it looses reception and immediately it comes back.

Another annoying problem is the clock witch is actually completely frozen. I can manually set the time and date but it won’t change from the hour that i just set

There's no changing anything. I went to a repair shop today and the guy told me there's nothing to do about it.
Many people came up to him with 5c with the same problem and he tried everything, from restoring the phone for them to changing battery, looking the logic board for micro tears, changing the crystal oscillator within the logic board and nothing solved the problem.

I mean, he could have made money out of me, but he simply didn't. He's seen the problem, he said Apple should start a recall.

Right now, I just bought a Sony Xperia Z3 and I'm going to scrap this crap 5c for 40 bucks or something.

I'm also facing the very same problem with my iPhone 5C:

-The clock won't change while iPhone is locked - Alarm won't work (obviusly);

-GPS is offset by a few thousand feet;

-Carrier bar only says "searching", but phone calls works normally.

and I tried EVERYTHING possible:

-Restored factory settings;

-Configured as a new iphone;

-Restored from original Back-Up;

-Uptaded all available iTunes and iOS;

-Re-did all the above numerous times;

-Tried DFU mode a few times;

-Prayed;

Then, I went a little deeper, since the warranty was over anyway:

-Opened the iPhone 5C, disconected the battery for a good hour to try to "hard reset" anything - Didn't work;

-Disconected all flat cables from logic board, looked all conections, sensors, and antenas - didn't work;

-Prayed a little more....

Seems that this is a repeating event on iPhone 5C - Never heard about it in any other model.

Am now seriously thinking to change the entirely logic board, but this is way to expensive.....

Has anybody succesfully fixed this issue?!

Apparently the poster is not familiar with punctuation, or was emulating James Joyce. Here is my take with punctuation (and a word or two) added:

I Finally found a solution. First update to ios 9.2.1, then turn on airplane mode, and then turn on location, if it is off. Finally, set your time manually, and then set it back to auto. After a minute turn off airplane mode.

Worth a shot 🙂
