I am having the same issue. If my iPhone 5c is locked clock stops running. If I leave it un-locked long enough it picks up network time but as soon as phone locks again same issue. Sometimes it works fine if plugged into power other times it does not.

This is a very serious issue and obviously there are many of us having it. I was really hoping the new 8.3 update would resolve it but no such luck.

PLEASE HELP!!

Still happening, still no solution I can find, I've just set the phone to never lock, tried everything else suggested to no avail, but at least if I keep it charged the alarm will still work, the intermittent wifi is a pain in the arse, but it seems to be ok with 4g so as long as I don't rag my data every month it shouldn't mess up my work texts, hopefully.

Gail, you seem to be some sort of Apple advocate...possibly a representative? Do you have a solution to this years old seemingly unfixable problem rendering all our iPhones practically useless since so many of our apps function in tandem with the clock? You seem more interested in defending Apple than addressing this very obvious and serious bug.

I to have this problem, just started a few days ago. The clock will also just fall out of time sync randomly. I have already tried: restoring from home (iTunes), taken this to my local Genius Bar and had them restore (started doing it again on the ride home before I restored from back up), tried calling my carrier (its AT&T and they just pointed back to the software), switched to manual clock set and put into airplane mode to rule out it was getting a bad signal from the cell towers, pulled and inspected the sim card. Nothing has resolved this so far.

The other issue I've noticed is the Bluetooth and WiFi crash often. The GPS is not accurate anymore (both Google Maps and Waze cannot pin point my location correctly (off by as much as several hundred feet).

Any feedback on this would be appreciated.

I have exactly the same problem with my iPhone 5C and I've already tried everything. Restore with iTunes as a new iPhone, clear network settings, and nothing worked.

This is really really annoying, I mean, everybody check the hour in their cellphones, and my iPhone have his very own hour! I think I will lost my job because I can't even use the alarm of my iPhone and I always used it to remember meetings and important events 😟.

Any fix?

Had the same problem for 2 weeks now. I also sent the phone to service; they said it is ok. Factory restore: it works again. Then I restored a back-up: problem is back!

Now I did another factory restore: it works. I looks like I have to pin point an app that prevents the clock from working while asleep.

Still the problem remains: how is this possible? This is a big security issue!
