I have videos in Iphoto they for some reason do not seem to be working. An error ostatus 54 comes up. I am trying to find it in the masters or original and I can't fin any of my videos in there. How do I find the videos.

I use this version, I can go into show contents and masters I can find the original and master photos but I can't find any movies. Before the update I was able to see my movies there. Now they are gone

Accessing your giles in that way is not supported.
Do the movies play in iPhoto?
all but one. I tried to email a video to my uncle and Iphoto of course will not allow you to do this. So I opened an email and attached file but when my uncle went to open it it was black. Furthermore, when I go to move movie to desktop it is only half the size (seems to be compressed or something). There has to be a way to be able to move the files as an original. I am really starting to hate iphoto.
File -> Export
and set the Kind to Original
will export your movie. iPhoto has no ability to compress movies at all.
Further, to find a movie within the Library package:
Select it the iPhoto Window and go File -> Reveal in Finder -> Original.
Just takes a little learning.
I did go to the original and none of my movies are in there. I went into every folder. I was able to see the movies prior to the last update.
Don't "go to the original". Use the methods that are supported.
If my videos are in Iphoto shouldnt' they be found in Iphoto library or something like the photos are? What "methods are supported"?
When I go and open Iphoto is that the only version of the video? Is it not backed up like your photos?
