Do apps and services run after fast-user-switching?

I have searched the discussion forums for the answer without success, so I'm asking for your collective wisdom.

Here's my situation:

I'm running OS X Mavericks Server on a Mac Mini with ample CPU and RAM. I have configured under the user "Server Administrator" the Server App and several automated workflows (using Automator and Hazel), along with backup and file maintenance services (using TimeMachine, ChronoSync, and CarbonCopyCloner).

My question is: If I log in as Server Administriator and start all these apps and processes, and then "fast user switch" and log in as a networked user, will all these processes continue to run, even though Server Administrator is not the "active" user? 😕

Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
