Hi coffee,
I am not sure what you mean by Numbers Beta.
You have posted in the forum for Numbers for Mac. Here is a Numbers for Mac version 3.2 Answer.
Numbers makes use of several tables. Perhaps an input table, a data base and a "Presentation" table. You can move the "Presentation" table to its own sheet and print without grid lines (cell borders).
"Presentation" table with cell borders:
Same table formatted for printing (no cell borders or cell fill):
Menu > File Print... shows this in Print Preview:
Is that what you are trying for?

Ian.
I will try this. The "beta" version is the one through Icloud. I don't think it has all the options. I tried to find a table from thier selections that had no grids or shaded lines and it dodn't look like there was one. My print ooptions did not have a "no grid/lines"option.
Hi coffee,

True. The 'Insert Table' options are limited. You can format a whole table at once by selecting it. Insert Table gives you a table that is already selected:
(I have deleted some Rows and Columns and 'squeezed' columns to make a smaller Screen Shot).
If the Table is not selected, click in it once, then click on the "bullseye"
With the whole table selected, I find the easiest way to change gridlines is in Format Panel > Cell > Border
Choose a Border Style (No Border) then click a border pattern for "All" (inside the red circle).
Step 2. Remove those alternating shaded rows. Now we need to go to Format Panel > Table
Untick Alternating Row Color.
BTW, I don't use Format Panel > Table > Grid Lines to change grid lines. I can't work that out.
Having gone to all this trouble, save a document with a table that has no borders or shaded lines. Save As Template for future use.
This was done on a Macbook Pro, OS X Mavericks 10.9.2, in Numbers 3.2. I don't know if this is possible in iCloud Beta.
My print ooptions did not have a "no grid/lines"option.
True. Print Preview has few editing options in Numbers 3.2. Most editing must be done in the document view.

Ian.
That go it done. I agree, the beta version does noto have all the bells and whistles. will probably fork out the 20 bucks to get it (Like apple wants us to)! thanksfor your help!
