How Do I Change My Screen Name in Apple Support Communities?

You are out of luck. You cannot change the name. The best you can do is create a new account & loose the points you have.

That *****!! I do not WANT my screen name anymore due to divorce. Surely with all Apple's high tech fancy ways of updating everything, sure they found a way to update your screen name now??

Just create a new one and forget the old one. You don't have any points to lose.

Abandoning the current Apple ID loses the 'connection' it has with all purchases/free downloads/game center/etc. made with it.

bobseufert has done all that we can here - alert our gracious Hosts. If you don't hear from them in a day or two, this process may be just what your predicament calls for > Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security - "Account Security Team" contact is what you would want.

Yes, I read the post, but the Apple Security Team has nothing to do with the alias in Apple Support Communities and would not be able to provide any help for this situation.

Thank you everyone. But I am not changing my apple is just to change my screen name. Yes, it needs to be changed. My last name has changed. Again, surely they change it. I will contact security team. Doesn't sure to try! Thanks!

For the record. I have already changed my apple is and screen name on everything else Apple. So I should be able to change it here too.

I AM using that account. I updated everything but cannot update the "screen name" on the community forums
