I have to wiggle my cord around to get my iPad to charge. Anything I can do to fix the problem?

I am having a problem charging my iPad.

Have to plug in the charger to the iPad several times to get it to start to charge.

Only a year and 4 months old.

Is one of those few iPad 3s. Old 30 pin chargers.

Love it. 64 gigs, so do t have the desire or cash to replace it....

Try another cable and see if that helps. If not, take it to an Apple store genius bar and have the techs check to see if the port is faulty.
