Update unavailable with this Apple ID

I can't update my any apps (both free and paid apps) i keep getting this error message: "Update unavailable with this Apple ID.

Update is not available with this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled." Wherein I'm using only one Apple ID. This is a brand new iPhone 5, I never request for a refund nor a cancellation on my purchases at all. I already logout of iTunes turned off my phone, log back in still getting the same error msg. My problem is how I will be able to update my apps?

ihave the same problem, it start out today, every app usually i can update, now cant be updated because of this problem, any solution??

I have this problem too! It started a few hours ago and I can't update anything! I've deleted the apps that need updating and have tried to re-download them again, but I still get that same error message! Does someone have a solution to this problem? I have tried signing out the back in like an older forum suggested, but it didn't work!

And I am getting this with GoodReader and iExplorer on my iPad.


Interestingly I had this problem (on a different set of apps) on my iPhone last night after trying the 'Update All' button (which is what I normally do). Updating the apps one by one worked. However, tried this on the iPad and it doesn't work.


I have not changed my apple id and I am not updating apps that I have cancelled or had refunded. This definitely sounds like a central App Store problem.

i have the same issue on my iphone 5s. today i got viber update but while updating, im getting the same issue. contacted apple by sending message to their support. waiting for response.


i got update for another app which worked. i have only issue with viber.

From the looks of similar posts, this is happening with people who have changed geographic regions. I moved from Canada to the UK about six months ago, and am getting this issue with apps that I got in Canada, but I got an update a while ago from an app I've downloaded since moving to the UK, and it updated just fine. Several people have posted that they have contacted Apple Support and they are aware of the issue and working on a fix.
