Adding Wireless Epson WF-3520

Arrgh! I cannot seem to add a new Epson WF-3520 all-in-one to my iMac for Wireless use. I can verify the wireless connection on the printer, but when I try to create the queue by adding the printer in System Preferences, there is a connection error. Also, there is no driver in the library under my user name despite the fact that I have downloaded the software multiple times. Can anybody help? Wireless light is on (on the printer). Is there something that I should try deleting that downloading again? Some way that I can verify through the router? Yikes! Help!

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.3), 2.16 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo

An easy fix to this question is to go to the Epson website, under the section called Downloads find Utilities. Then click on the "Download" link for the Epson Connect Printer Setup Utility. Install this small package onto your mac and run the utility. Make sure the WF-3520 is turned on and connected to the wireless network.

After running the utility, go back to Apple > System Preferences... > Printers & Scanners > "+". The printer should be visible under Nearby Printers. Click it to add it to your list of Printers. Done and Done.

Well, with me that was a good assumption. I try to deal with setup issues on my own and only turn to this place when I can't figure it out.

For those who might have the same problem and find this string searching: I believe that the issue had to do with the CD included with the printer. You might be able to avoid that problems that I had by going directly to Epson to download the printer driver and utilities. If you have already tried to add the printer, I would suggest that you go to Epson and download their uninstaller utility and completely uninstall all of the software. Then download the driver, et.al. from Epson and try again from scratch. I had to uninstall the printer and restore it to its initial settings, reboot the modem, shut down my iMac. Then I turned the modem on (and gave it time to reboot), restarted my computer and then turned on the printer and installed the software. Then I followed all of the instructions in Setup (which were not there when I used the setup on the CD) and everything worked like a charm.
