Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

I keep getting the message (CANNOT GET MAIL The connection to the server failed) but I am connected and do get my e-mails.

I need help. Since the last up-date I started getting the message. (CANNOT GET MAIL The connection to the server failed) I click ok and the message goes away and I get my mail.

iPad 2, iOS 7.1.1

I would start with closing all open applications as outlined in the first article and power cycle the device. If the issue persists, the easiest way to troubleshoot this issue would be to delete the account and add it back to the iOS device. Below, I have included two additional email troubleshooting articles. The second article covers basic email troubleshooting. The third article will assist you if the email account you are experiencing issues with is a Gmail account.
