While if you don’t have any backup files in iTunes or iCloud, can you recover deleted photos on iPad Mini? The unique way is to recover with PhoneRescue.

Unless you have them backed up on another device then thay are lost

That why iCloud backup is very good when you charge an iPhone /ipad

If iCloud backup is on it will automatically be backed up to iCloud over your WiFi

Then if you have a problem you can restore over your WiFi

If it was only last week then look in the "Recently deleted" album in your photos app.

In case you didn't notice, "Last week" was 2 years ago.
