10.9.3 only lets me use 2 of my 3 30" displays

I have two very large, darkened monitors that now hang over my desk like some sort of morbid steampunk art project gone awry. If anyone has info on the impact of the 10.9.4 update on multiple displays, please let us know.

Well, I think anyone running the beta would be under NDA and wouldn't be able to answer your question.

If you find it isn't fixed for you, you'll be able to give Apple feedback before the public release.

Given that Apple now has a public beta program, clone your HD using SuperDuper! or Carbon Copy Cloner, upgrade to the beta and find out. You might find it an illuminating experience.

An illuminating experience indeed! I had a look at this but there are restrictions. The incredible effort of re-installing all my commercial software, let alone not being able to use my computer as before, is a huge block to me ever being involved.

only to say that i am back to the ground level, again the last solution i proposed worked perfectly for 2-3 days, today doesn't work anymore

i am back to disconet the HDMI cable and connect again back on my Mac Mini so that i can have image on my display

This happens to me as well with my Mac Mini mid 2011, but only if i have Chrome running - oddly. Which ***** because i use Chrome religiously...

Read rumors on the Adobe forums that the 10.9.4 beta does and does not fix the issue. They are also having strange export rendering issues and seem to think open cl is somehow related.

I'm having the same multiple monitor problem 10.9.3 with dual ASUS VE247H's. Using PNY mdp to hdmi adapters on different buses. Only one will run at a time now. Late 2013 MP with dual D700s. Took it into the Apple store yesterday and they recommended a downgrade to 10.9.2 while Apple comes up with a fix. Hope it's soon. A lot of people in this boat.

Errata and etc:

• The Chrome fingering was a red herring - this happens whether it's running or not.
• This effects my dual-dvi-via-thunderbolt output, but not my HDMI output.
• Apple closed my bug on this issue as a duplicate of 16197028.

I would go down to 10.9.2 if I know how to do it, I tried format the HD and install the 10.9.0, in the 1st steps works but when the installation gets connected through nternet, then updates directly to 10.9.3 and I am dead again :(

I would pre download the 10.9.2 combo update first. Than install 10.9.0 and than make sure disconnected from internet. Than apply the 10.9.2 combo update and than don't install 10.9.3 at all and make sure auto update is turned off as well.

SuperDuper has an option to create a "sandbox". This option copies the system files only and aliases back to your other applications and files. You can then upgrade 10.9.4 over the sandbox without affecting your original install or any of your applications.

My Sandbox used 23.31 GB of space for the files. I would make the sandbox 30GB for 'breathing room'.

Just as a follow-up here.. last night I was able to update to 10.9.4 through software update and the dual monitor issue has been resolved for me. Thanks, Apple.

Has the Multiple Monitor issue with 10.9.3 update been fixed? Are we all still waiting for the Apple fix and working in 10.9.2 ?

Six months ago, we were LUCKY to be able to go back to 10.9.2 and restore the use of 4 dell monitors on our new Late 2013 MacPro.

Have been busy working since then but wanted to check back in with the Community to see if this is still an issue or if it has been resolved?

Can we go forward with updates? Thanks for your replies, Beth

I had to reset pram and smc and the issue stopped for me. I have three Dell monitors. Two on thunderbolt ports, one HDMI. It works fine.
