Viewsonic VX2025wm Sleep Problem
With the Mac Pro, the external display has real trouble with sleep. It reads "no input" goes to power save mode, and then immediately turns back on to read "no input", and back and forth over and over. The monitor still works fine on the Powerbook.
I do realize this is a Viewsonic issue, but their inept customer service people simply say that they don't guarantee this monitor with a Mac Pro. Strangely enough, my other Viewsonic (VX922) sleeps just fine as my secondary monitor.
Does anyone have any clue as to what causes this or any thoughts as to how I might tackle the problem? Maybe it's just a case of getting what I pay for (in this case, a display that is nowhere near as expensive as an Apple branded one).
Thanks!
