I had recently a reinstallatio
n of Mountain Lion and the screen installed are different from the one I had in US.

Uncheck "Translucent menu bar" to make your Menu Bar solid white again.
Thank you for the suggestion but unchecking the Translucid Menu Bar did not make any changes.

If you are referring to the desktop background, the Snow Leopard screen was a default screen background and is no longer available with the newer OS. I think the newer OS also wipes out older pictures by default while upgrading (at least that happened to me). If you have a complete backup, you can try to find that particular image and copy it over.
