As I stated earlier, I have no problem accessing my iTunes. It's only after I close my iTunes that the silly DEP icon pops up with its message. However, this morning I noticed a new wrinkle. After I opened up my iTunes, I went to the iTunes Store. When I exited from the iTunes Store, I then closed my iTunes. I noticed that the silly DEP icon did not pop up! I repeated what I had done several times more with the same result -- no silly DEP icon. Perhaps this may lead to a cure for the original problem.

Hey Quada, just tried that myself and same result NO DEP after closing iTunes after closing iTunes store.

However if I open iTunes without opening the store I still get the DEP?????

I did Google the problem last night and there are some search results that there are more problems with 11.2 and 11.2.1 is on its way. Its beyond me though all the technical jargon being stated.

When I uninstalled iTunes using the 5 step method I also uninstalled QuickTime, ie all apple software.

I reinstalled the iTunes only without QT and the problem still existed.

Later I reinstalled QT.

Tried 2nd suggestion too ie signing out then opening and closing, problem still there.

I've just got off the phone with Apple reporting this problem which as been advanced to a technician. I supplied all logs of system and problem hopefully a solution will be supplied soon.
