pink screen when I switch on my mac

User uploaded file

There is a problem after the latest update before yesterday. When I switch on my iMac, there is a pink screen before login to the desktop. Just half second then back to the normal white and grey color. I called apple care, they taught me to press shift key to login to the safe mode, however it cannot fix the problem, may I know if my iMac was damaged? Please help me, thank you.

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.3)

Hi,

Support's contact with chat and phone also does not solve in my case. It seems to me that the new Mac Pro has some difference in the hardware that these reset procedures did not solve the pink screen problem. My Mac is under warranty, so I'll go the Apple support that will solve. I'll post any news here.

They good should warn New Mac Pro users to avoid the last update of El Captain (13/12/2016). I believe that it changes something these resets does not solve the problem. It could be worse that a pink screen, this is not to be unnoticed for Apple.

Happy Holidays to all.
