How can I add the calendar icon to the dock on my imac, please?
I've tried dragging it from Launchpad, but thsat doesn't work.

Thank you for your reply. I dragged the icon from the applications folder, and it worked.
This should work as it works for me on a 2012 MacBook Pro running Mavericks.
Is this the Operating system youre on?
Your other option is dragging the Calender application from the Applications section of Finder.

Dragging it from Launchpad should work. Drag it into the dock between to other icons. Applications have to be added to the left of the divider.
Try dragging it to the dock from your Applications folder (Command-Shift+A).
You can also open the Calendar app then right-click (control-click) on the app icon in the dock and select Options then Keep in Dock.
