Can I use Compressor or DVD Studio Pro to create a computer file from a DVD?

Hi, I've got a DVD with some footage taken at an event I took part in. It's not a computer file, but regular DVD footage. Can I use any of the Final Cut Studio tools (such as Compression or DVD Studio Pro) to convert this footage into a computer file? And how would I do it?

Thanks!

The easiest way to quickly create a small but high quality H.264 file to view on a computer or TV via a media player is to use the free application Handbrake.

The resulting file is excellent for viewing but should be converted to ProRes 422 if you wish to re-edit it.
