I am using an iMac, 2.93 GHz Intel Core i7, 8 GB 1333 Mhz DDR3, OS x 10.9.2. In certain programs, my magic Mouse does not work. (iPhoto, Aperture, App store, for example). The keyboard works in those programs, but not the mouse. I switched to a different mouse, but that did not help. Does anyone have any suggestions on what might be going on?
So my computer is having the Exact same problems (Not letting me click on Most Mac Applications or Programs) and about 3 or 4 months I started running an older wacom Tablet on my computer. I do not know if it is actually related but it is definitely troublesome. Did deleting the Wacom driver help?
The weird part is, when I plugged in my Wacom Tablet, it seems to work for Clicking

Try moving this file, then log out or restart:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.driver.AppleBluetoothMultitouch.mouse.plist
I do not seem to have this file.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Preferences and delete the .plist supplied by Linc. Then restart.

Open the Library folder in your home folder by holding down the option key and selecting
Go ▹ Library
from the Finder menu bar. Navigate in the usual way to the folder indicated above.

I am having this exact same issue currently - did you ever find a solution? I also tried installing software for an older wacom tablet last month, wondering if this is what started the problem?
