I have to create a zip file in order to upload multiple files to a specific application. Unfortunately, it rejects the zip created on a Mac because it contains
hidden files. Any solutions besides going to Parallels everytime I need to do this. It would be much appreciated.

I've not tried it myself.
The other way would be to make the invisible files visible and remove them first, then zip.
Best way would be to use a 3rd party app such as BetterZip (http://macitbetter.com)
You can also use ZipCleaner (http://roger-jolly.nl/software) to remove these files from zips made by the Finder.
