I pre-ordered an iBook on my iPad yesterday. The book was released today, but it is not in my library and when I search for the book in the iBooks store, it's not listed. When do pre-ordered iBooks appear on your app? And why is the book no longer listed in the iBook store. It was there just yesterday when I pre-ordred it. Help!

Funnily enough here I am like 3 years later also waiting for a Cassandra Clare book (lord of shadows) to come out and worrying about preordering vs waiting till midnight. I've read every one of these on their releas dates over the years and I'm still clearly hooked. Lol hope you guys still love it.
I have the same situation. When I go to the pre order management in my account, it still shows that I pre ordered the book, but when I click on the book link, it say that this title is unavailable in the US. I've emailed support, so hopefully this will be resolved.
Good to know I'm not alone in this. I've never pre-ordered a book in iBooks before, but I assumed it would show up after midnight the day the book was released. It's really disheartening that the book itself has disappeared from the iBooks store altogether.
Usually they do show up within a few hours after midnight. They also send an email when it is available. I have only pre ordered a few books, but they've never disappeared from the store, especially when it is a hyped release. Hopefully we can get a resolution soon!! I'll let you know if I hear anything.

Me too! I finished the 5th book on Sunday and really wanted to start it yesterday but just pre-ordered it instead.
I pre-ordered City of Heavenly Fire quite awhile ago, pre-order a lot of books, have not had a problem before. Very disapointed that I get the unavailable in US store message, hopefully, this is just a release delay, but I am concerned that it is not even showing up in the store. Want my book bad!!!
I am totally on this COHF team with all of you. I didn't pre-order because I had read about people having issues, but now the book is completely unavailable in the iBooks store, so it's very confusing. At least we're not alone!
