linux vs. bootcamp

I am an engineer using a software package not supported by the Mac OS. I am trying to get some information on which would be better to use: bootcamp or linux through my Mac?

The specific software is MADMYO. Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks

Nick

bootcamp is a bootloader, a setup tool for the patition for windows and a zip file with windows drivers

linux is a full operating system

comparing them is like comparing apples to poems

bootcamp officially only do windows partitions but who know what people have managed to do you can try googling for it

if you just need to run a program which don't run under osx then a virtual machine would be the easy way

virtual box is free

from googling it seems that the program is a windows program so it would not really work on linux

are you sure you are not trying to do comercials for this product?
