Convert Windows modem script to Mac modem script?

Finally figured out how to get Windows on my MacBook Pro to connect to the Web using my cell phone as a USB modem. Only took me two days to work out all the settings. The phone, a Vodafone 904T (Toshiba), only has software for Windows, so I stuck with the tedious and obtuse procedure to an eventually successful conclusion.

But it got me to thinking...a long time ago, I came across a Mac forum thread that discussed how to build Mac modem scripts for any modem. I recall neither where I saw it, nor any of the details, but if I could somehow get hold of the Windows version of the script, which should be somewhere in the Windows partition, it should be relatively easy to convert it for use on the Mac side. Then I would be able to select it from the popup menu in the Networking preference panel.

Bottom line: Is there some way of locating the Windows modem script for this phone and then converting it for use on the Mac side?

Thanks!

I am trying to connect an LG LSP 350r Fixed Wireless Phone, running a CDMA network (on Qualcomm CDMA MSM Chipt)

It connects from a Windows based machine.

From a Mac it repeatedly sends the 'No Carrier' signal

I get

AT&F
OK

ATDT #777
NO CARRIER

has the network banned Macs?

I went to a Mac Finder window, typed Command-F, typed the word "modem" in the search box. Practically the first thing that came up was a folder named "Modem Scripts". In it are a bunch of files named for various modems. They are text files, even if they don't look like it.

Now, as to the Windows side, I don't know Windows, don't know where the scripts are kept.

Then there's the question of whether the scripts use the same language on either side, or something easily translatable. I imagine that question will be answerable once you've got a couple of corresponding scripts side by side.
