Macbook Pro running slow getting the rainbow wheel

I'm running version 10.7.5 about a month ago my computer started running slow so I decided to put a lot of the music/movies I had on this hard drive onto a remote drive. I figured that's why it was running slow. Well that didn't do anything. It actually got worse after I removed all that stuff. I have 435.94 GB available of a 500 GB HDD. I keep getting the rainbow wheel when I have a few windows open (I use safari). After I had gotten this drive almost completely free. I was having audio issues. Watching videos on youtube and the audio wasn't keeping up w/ the video. It would for a certain point but then I'd hear it repeat a short section of audio and then be off from there. Same thing when I have spotify open and I'm listening to music on there. If I'm on a webpage I get the spinning wheel and the audio skips. It doesn't seem to matter what I do I'm always getting the spinning wheel for some reason or another. I've done the verify permissions etc but that didn't work. I've dumped the cache in safari and that made the spinning wheel come on when I tried to open safari again. I use mackeeper on here and I thought that may have been the culprit but I've had it for a while before it started doing all this. I've had this computer for close to 3yrs now. It was a refurb from Apple. I'm not sure if that has anything to do w/ it. I have 4 GB of RAM. I've checked to see if anything is eating up the resources and that's not an issue. Just have no idea why it's running crappy. Unless my HDD is about to fail. Anyone know what the issue may be? I thought I'd never have issues like this w/ a Mac. I HATED Windows based PC's because of the freezing, shutting down, errors etc. I'd get all the time and fell in love w/ this computer once I got used to it. I'm not a pro but I can do things w/ instructions.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

☞ In the Finder, select Go Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.

The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select

SYSTEM LOG QUERIES All Messages

from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select

View Show Log List

from the menu bar at the top of the screen.

Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.

☞ The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.

Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.

☞ Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

ibleedblackandgold,

so it’s flying in Safe mode, or flying after you’ve rebooted from Safe mode into normal mode? If it’s flying only in Safe mode, then that would suggest that some third-party software which gets run at login in normal mode is responsible for the slowdown — in that case, download and install EtreCheck, and please include in your reply the output from a run of EtreCheck.

It's flying after I rebooted after safe mode but I'm still getting the spinning wheel. It's annoying the crap out of me. Pages are loading like they should w/ the speed that I have though. It's funny because it started getting worse as soon as I started making more room on the drive and that was just by moving my movies and music. Can't think of anything downloaded that would make it run slow. I don't just download crap. Other than updates from Apple. I just ran that check and here's the info.

Here's what it came up with. It always skips the audio. Sometimes it will play for a bit before it does it. I'm listening to Pandora now and it's been through a few songs already and it just did it. Video is the worst and drives me crazy watching it. I feel like I'm watching one of those old Kung Fu movies w/ the lips moving out of order.
