Mavericks Breaks Matrox TripleHead2Go Analog compatibility

Hello,

I got an "End-Of-Life" product of Matrox company : Matrox TripleHead2Go Analog edition.

Works a treat on older versions of OS X, I can't get the fake 2400x600 @60hz monitor that I want (as well as a whole lot of other 4:1 ratio resolutions)

But on mavericks only the CENTER output will work on the matrox, appearing as a 1600 x 1200 / 1280 x 960 / 1024 x 768

Tried switchResX with no luck : still only the center output is active with a shrinked 2400x600 on it, that's ugly 😉

As a side note, this version of Matrox, and despite its high cost is not supported anymore on Mac (can't get a clue on they support site...)

If anyone can brings some suggestions, I'm open 🙂

After a lot of fiddling and fussing I've finally get this to work !! (2 or 3 night lost...)

I had to create a custom resolution with switchResX like before with a -special- option : CVT instead of GTF.

And now I have access to all the traditionnal ultra-wide resolution inside the switchResX panel !

For me it's clearly a bug coming from Apple, it broke since the new monitor panel presentation ("scale" or "optimized" and all this nonsense).

I hope my message will be useful to another web pilgrim like me xD
