I can no longer connect Pinterest with facebook without going back to that app installation tab. Can anyone help me correct this problem. It happens on both my iPad and iPhone.

I use both these apps, on the same phone as you're using. Mine are "connected" and behaving normally. Can you give more information? What's the actual problem? Logging in to Pinterest using Facebook? Or something else?
I have always connected with Facebook. I get an error message when trying to log on. I gone into help on fb. Reported problem. Done everything I can think to do and suggestions from fb help and still can't log on.
I just logged out of my Pinterest app, and then logged back in through Facebook. I used the "continue with Facebook" button. It worked fine. Maybe see if you can log into facebook's app from your phone? It sounds like its either a mis-saved password (maybe an old one?) or something in your fb settings?
Have you checked this: under settings, scroll quite a ways down and you will see Facebook. There are options to allow/disallow apps there. Is Pinterest on?
