Alan
How would I go about this?
Thanks
Sam
The maximum that Mac can run is Tiger 10.4.11
Apple is no longer selling the DVD for Tiger
They are available on the web for around $100
Note, upgrading to Tiger will introduce a new file search engine called Spotlight. Spotlight, requiring indexing is particularly sensitive to the hard drive getting full, and can be slower than Sherlock or 10.3's Find File under the Finder. 10.4's Find File under the Finder uses the Spotlight engine to locate files. If you choose to go to 10.4, be aware some other alternatives listed below may be faster for index free file name searching:
http://apps.tempel.org/FindAnyFile/
http://www.devontechnologies.com/products/freeware/ - EasyFind
http://www.osxbytes.com/ - iFileX (note the MacUpdate link provided on osxbytes page has a Malware advertisement for MacKeeper, do not download).
