My Mac has stopped receiving emails (btconnect ones) whilst my iPad receives them fine,. My Mac is still sending emails. Does anyone know what the problem might be and how to fix it?
Hi - a few days ago my Mac stopped receiving emails. It still sends emails, anad my iPad still receives emails. I have tried diagnosis and the sending email connection and login to server was successful but for the receivign I got 'Could not connect to this btconnect.com POP server. Check your account connection and that you entered teh correct info in the account preferences. Also verify that the server supports SSL. If it does not, deselect the 'use SSL' checkbox in the advanced tab of account preferences'.
I have tried changing the address in line with what the apple website suggested it should be (which is different from the one that works on my ipad) but no difference. And I tried rebuilding but that didn't change anything.
Can anyone suggest what migth be wrong and what I need ot do?
