Is that the hidden spy camera on left side from original camera on iPad Air ?

Is that the hidden spy camera on left side from original camera on iPad Air covered half with border paint? It's hard to spot, but under bright light you can see. It looks just like another hidden camera behind paint, what is that? It didn't looks like any of light detector, it just like another camera.

Then what is that, looking like a camera doing there? Thanks, but just in case I did put tape over, first I thought it would affect my video lighting or quality, so after I put tape, video and pictures are same quality, not darker at all, so as automatic screen darkening is not affected, so my solution is that, that is another spy cam, because every little hole on iPad is mentioned in spec tech manual, but only that one is out from any manual. Ant it's not light sensor either. But thank you for your quick replay, I'll keep tape over just in case.

No. No to all of this. It is the ambient light sensor, and it only senses light in your surroundings to adjust the screen brightness if you have auto brightness enabled. If you look EXTREMELY close, it isn't even a full "lens", it is a bunch of little specs. In no way could this even be a camera lens, and even if it was, it wouldn't function at all with that sort of structure. If I knew how to include a picture on these forums I would show you, I got a clear, pretty high quality close up with my Galaxy S4 that clearly shows that the ambient light sensor is a series of tiny specs, not a full camera lens concealed by paint.

if they were to spy on you why on earth would they need an extra camera to do so ?

they have 2 one on the front and one on the back and various mics around the device

would seem counter productive to add a discoverable "hidden" camera hech they might as well make a sign that said "hey the moon is hollow and our base is in the center!"
