Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

Siri rude comments after responses and incompetence.

I ask "Time?" It responds

"6:05 am. Way too early"

How do I stop these remarks? I find them very rude.

Another thing, a few times I ask for the time, and it says "I found "time" in wikipedia. would you like me to . . .

Yesterday, I told it to call someone I call every day via Siri. It said (all 20 times I asked) that the name is not in the addressbook, but, natch, it is. I had to stop the car and dial it myself.

So many mistakes. It's easier to do it myself than with that thing.

Is there a way to make it work? One year, I hoped it would learn but it doesn't. Am I doing something wrong?

Growl.

Well, I'm glad you like and are amused by the Siri responses. Apparently you have a different sense of humor than I do and that's okay.

In my book, it's okay for me to expect polite answers from an employee--and that's what Siri is to me.

When I ask the time, I just want the time without commentary. And I should be able to have that choice.

Can anyone tell me if there's a way to stop the commentary?

Thanks.

It's not rude it was just joking saying its way too early. You need to chill out. Use the Google Search app if you want to ask it dumb questions and be responded to in a robotic manner.

Rudeness, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. Everyone has their preferences and a right to said preferences. Though Apple doesn't necessarily have an obligation to honor them, that doesn't mean we should criticize people for them.
