I have lots of Game Center friends. I have 2 that have somehow figured out how to hide their real life name. So instead of saying "Johnny Appleseed is ... UserName", it just says "UserName". How can I make this the same with my account? Thanks in advance!
Game Center uses the Game Center Profile name you chose when setting up your account.
You can Edit this name here:
Settings > Game Center > tap your Game Center Profile name > sign in (if prompted) then edit NICKNAME
GO to App Store, click on your email at the bottom, view Apple ID, sign in if you need to, then click your email at the top which will take you to the apple website on safari, sign in again if you must, and there you have an option to change your full name to whatever you like. So your real name wont be on Game Center anymore! 😀
That doesn't help me get rid of the Johnny Appleseed part though. That only changes my username. I'm looking for how to get rid of the real name entirely.

Do you have Public Profile on?
Turning on Public Profile will display your name to friends.
I Had public profile off, but turned it back on and off again to make sure it wasn't bugged or anything, and it is still showing the "Johnny Appleseed is..." part. Any other ideas?
