Why does iCloud, Safari never remember to fill in my Google password. It's always blank. So I have to look it up. What's the problem?
That is because certain websites does not allow a web browser to remember the user ID and password. iCloud is the same way. You can also find this feature to prevent password from saved in banking sites.
I want further proof. iCloud and Safari remember everything else, why not Google too? Got to be a reason.
Turn off Private Browsing.
Tap "Private" to enable/disable Private Browsing.

On an iMac. Private Browsing is not turned on. I checked Safari/Private Browsing/ it asked me if I wanted to turn it on. It's got to be something else.
This new APPLE forum design is frustrating. I started from a new inquiry, there was no mention of picking a forum.
Anyway, sorry for the iMac post, but it's the same on my iPad Air.
I have the white top to the safari menu, not black, so private browsing is always turned off on the iPad Air. Neither iCloud nor Safari will remember my Google password on my iPad Air. I have to always look it up.
Why?
Check you settings here:
Settings>Safari>Password and AutoFill>Names and Passwords>On
Safari fills in every other password I use, why not Google?
Settings>Safari>Password and AutoFill>Saved Passwords>Check if Google password is saved
I deleted the googlemail item in the passwords/auotfill list.
Quit Safari
Reopened Safari.
Signed into Google.
Quit Safari.
Reopened Safari.
Opened Google.
Sign in is blank.
Had no effect upon Safari what so ever.
Is Google deliberately blocking my ability to AUTOFILL in Safari?
There were no other Google items in the AutoFill list.
This is correct, Googles website does not allow the autosave password feature.
Can anyone point to where Google says that no one can autofill a Google Password in their own browser?
That's a question you have to ask google. I'm always logged in whatever google product I use and I don't have any passwords saved.
