Hi
Thanks for your reply and help.
I understand what you're saying, but Im not sure that this has nothing to do with Apple technology because on a PC you can access whichever website you please, regardless of country.
No, many sites do this even on a PC. However as I said there are usually links to change the Country or Region the Website automatically serves. However, on mobile versions of the sites these may be hidden or removed all together by the Website owner

Yes I know there is usually a link within the website that allows you to either switch countries or jump to another variation of the site. I have not come across this because also a lot of websites revert to the mobile function only instead of the full desktop version, therefore you have even less options!!
Yes, this is a function of the website. They detect a mobile device and serve the mobile version which may be lacking in features. It would happen on any mobile device just the same. Whether Apple or Samsung or whatever other brand.

Hi
One of the websites for example is Proactiv Plus skincare. I believe there has been a mistake made on my credit card from when I purchased some products 2 weeks ago whilst I was in the US. I need to get into the US site to check the prices is US$. I cannot do this no matter what I try, it always diverts to the UK site.
Unfortunately this is up the website again. What it serves up based on location and device used to access it.
You could however use a different browser that can change its identity to make the website think its a PC browser. and so you have access to the country selector.
Sleipnir browser for instance offers this feature.

There are several others in the store.
