Can I use the Earpods microphone on a windows software?

What happens when you try it?

Are trying to both listen and record using the EarPods? Did you plug them

into the connection for a microphone on the PC? Is there an

application installed that can record? Does Device Manager see the Earpods

as a microphone?

You would need a splitter to connect it to, the ipad, iphone use a single input for both the mic and headphone but the PC uses one for each.
