Connecting iPod to Honda Music Link

I need help! I have a 5th Gen iPod, and also I have a Honda Music Link, connected to a Honda Accord. I recently updated th e iPod software from 1.1.2, to version 1.2 (the newest version). Guess what, my iPod is now not recognized by my car audio system. It only shows a blinking "CD-01" all the time, and I can't manage my iPod with the car system controls as I could before I did the upgrade. I tried to restore the iPod and loaded the TTS entries again, but no luck.

Does anyone uses this and has the same problem as I have? What can I do to resolve the problem? Please help, I really hate my iTrip!!

the standard 3.5mm works. cost about 8 bucks radio shack

What Aux jack are you referring to? I have a 2006 Honda Pilot (standard) and there is no aux jack at least visible on the front of the in dash stereo.

I have the Music Link that was dealer installed in my 06 Odyssey... the cord is in the glove box... the blinking D-1 is on the radio. Have any suggestions?

Gang, I just tried this on my 2006 Accord and nothing happended. Probably this is just a hoax. Still, my iPod doesn't work on the Music Link...

I'd say Honda will start getting more complaints as customers with new 5G iPods, which will be shipping with firmware 1.2, figure out that they will not work with Music Link.

I don't use TTS - everything I heard about it was essentially that it was a clunky interface, buggy, etc. So you're not the only one.

Based on what my Acura SA said today,I think they know it's a problem with the Music Link box. I asked him if it was flash-able, and he didn't know.

I received a call from my Honda dealer yesterday stating that new TTS software is on their site that has been updated to work with iTunes 7.

Great..... as everyone was expecting.....I installed the the new tts software and still get the same thing. like it was some surprise "CD 06" still flashing. apple's turn.

I can't get the old updater to work--I keep getting a message saying "The selected iPod is not supported by this updater."

Thanks to all who posted on this matter. Update 1.2.1 resolves the issue and my 60GB V-iPod is working beautifully again on my Honda Music Link.
