Postfix starttls error

Hello,

trying to get postfix on mac server 10.9.4 (just upgraded)

so I need smtp server to receive emails from 192.1.1.0/24 network and relay out to gmail (we have gmail account)

I've posted the postconf -n output below. I'm using postconf -e to make changes in postfix.

I'm getting errors in mail.log saying relay denied from gmail "must issue a STARTTLS command first"

any ideas on what else I can do to make this work?
