Safari bug

Hi everyone I am having a problem with my safari, i put two fingers on my trackpad and slide them right to go to the previous page and it lags the whole page i cant move down and cant go back and cant access the page so i close the tab and go to another one, i dont want to use the hotkey to go to the previous page or click the "back" arrow I am comfortable with this way and when i do it it lags the page and cant do anything with the whole tab.
