Hello everyone,
I ran my Bose earbuds through the wash, YAY! they still work, amazingly, but the volume creeps up or down depending on what mood they're in (without me hitting any buttons) aside from locking my volume in the volume limit option so I don't blast my eardrums out. Is there setting somewhere to ignore all input from the headphone buttons?

You may try going to Settings > Sounds and turning off Change With Buttons. I haven't tested it out with the headphones yet to be honest, but it may help!
that toggle effects volume of the ringer and alerts only :-/ plus they buttons on the actual phone. bummer...
