I have MacBook Pro and updated to OS Maverick. Now it says my iPhoto is not supported. Any suggestions?

Mavericks needs iPhoto 9.5.1 for compatibility...go to the App Store and purchase the latest iPhoto and then that will import all of your photos from the old library.

It should be made clearer that the iLife components are different for Mavericks:iLife: System requirements
