Mac Mini loses network connectivity

II've got the original MM running Snow Leopard. The problem is that after 3-4 days I have to reboot the MM to restore network connectivity. I can't connect to it either on my home network, or offsite over the internet. After I reboot it works fine for 3-4 days and I have to do it again. It's set not to sleep. Didn't use to have the problem. any ideas? Thanks

Well it's getting worse. Today went into freeze mode after probably 5-6 hours. I have all peripherals unplugged other than my TV acting as my monitor. I ran Apple Equipment Test and no errors. I tried your suggestions with no luck. Maybe it's a software update or some download I installed. It started after return from my vacation on May 26. Is there somewhere I can see a log of changes since then? Thanks again.

- Agree to check the logs.

- Logs can be viewed with /Applications/Utilities/Console.app and /Applications/Utilities/System Profiler.app

- System Profiler -> Software -> Logs : check all the logs ( recent contents ) To analyse further, use Console and use the string match on "wake" "sleep" "error" "install" etc.

- While in System Profiler check:

Hardware : that the Processor is listed with the correct specifications.

Hardware -> Memory that the memory is reported correctly with Manufacturer, and Part Number

Well I've done everything suggested, and no success. Still has a black screen and is unresponsive, although the white light is on and steady, and only stays up about 1-2 days. The only 2 new programs that have been added before this stared were ploader and JAVA update. I've totally uninstalled ploader. I can't imagine there's an issue with JAVA. Any other ideas? Thanks.

Well, I think I may have finally solved the problem. It relates to an Add-in extension for iPhoto /09. I run a webserver on my Mac Mini, and host my photo gallery on it. I started using Piwigo about 2 years ago and it works fine. When I came back from a trip in late May, I wanted to load the photos onto the Piwigo gallery being hosted on my computer, and found an Add-In Extension on the Piwigo site that let's you move multiple files at once, rather than individually. Its called iPhotoTOPiwigo. There is a current version, 1.9, but its my understanding that I need to use version 1.7 since I'm running Snow Leopard. I installed it and everything worked fine. I could move multiple photos. But it appears that something in the installation started the problem of locking up the Mac Mini after about a day or so. I finally decided to remove the Add-In from the iPhoto Plug-Ins sub-folder found in the Application Support folder, and its been working since last Wednesday with no problems. I'm going to wait a few more days before I claim success, but it looks like this is it. I can't imagine why this Plug-In would have this effect. Any ideas? I appreciate all the effort you gave in trying to solve this problem. At the least it eliminated some areas that might have been problematical. I'll put up a post when I feel I can call it Resolved.

Well its BAAAACKKK--This is really frustrating. The only thing that has changed is that I installed the new iTunes update. It threw the error code that so many of us have gotten relating to the AppleUSBEthernet.gtext or something like that. I deleted the file as has been suggested. Now I've got the same problem just as before. So it must be something with iTunes or this blasted file. Any ideas? Thanks.
